Wireless container security with passive UHF RFID
The SECURE UHF RFID Cable Seal Tag is a single-use, tamper-evident security seal that embeds a passive UHF EPC Gen2 (ISO 18000-6C) RFID inlay inside a high-strength galvanised steel cable seal. Any cut to the cable physically breaks the antenna circuit — tamper events become detectable both visually and electronically when the seal is interrogated by a UHF reader at a gate or checkpoint.

- Read range: up to 10 m non-line-of-sight with a fixed gate reader, vs. < 30 cm for visual / barcode seals.
- Read time per container: sub-second automated scan vs. 8–15 s manual recording.
- Clone resistance: factory-locked 64-bit TID provides hardware-anchored authenticity verification.
- Audit trail: every read event is timestamped and ERP-pushed automatically.

- Frequency: 860–960 MHz UHF; tuned to 865–867 MHz for India per WPC notification.

- Memory: 96 / 128-bit programmable EPC + 64-bit factory-locked TID.
- Cable: 1.8 mm or 2.5 mm galvanised steel aircraft cable, 250–380 mm lengths.
- Operating temperature: -40 °C to +85 °C.
- Tamper indication: cable severance disables the antenna; sequential laser-etched serial provides backup visual verification.
- Power: passive — no battery, no recharging.
